Dr. Dan Royles and his team have won a contract worth $180,000 awarded by the National Park Service to carry out a 2.5 year historical context study on the subject of ‘Violence against people of African descent in the United States and its territories from 1500 to the present day’. This research effort will include contributions from Dr. Ken Lipartito, Dr. Alex Cornelius and Ph.D. candidate Johnny Irizarry Rojas.
