Jairo Ledesma has been appointed as the Charles A. and Carrie Mastronardi Endowed Teaching Chair in the History Department at Miami-Dade College, Homestead Campus and Richard Denis has won a competitive Goizueta Graduate Research Fellowship from the University of Miami Libraries Cuban Heritage Collection.
