Each year, FIU recognizes the outstanding, valuable contributions faculty make to the university and academic communities. The award honors full-time faculty and administrators whose work demonstrates impact in the areas of research, creative activities, teaching and mentorship. This year, FIU History faculty were named as 6 of the 34 total faculty members selected to receive the award. Drs. Julio Capó Jr., Catherine Mas, Lindsey Maxwell, Okezi Otovo, Bianca Premo, and Daniel Royles were all recognized for their outstanding contributions across a number of categories. Congratulations!
